Cyrano 2025: An Echoborg Romance

A slam poetry re-imagining of Cyrano de Bergerac with AI-enabled romance.

What would push a person to rely on AI for romance?
How might AI change the way we love one another?

Premieres at the Grand River Arts Festival on September 20th, 2025 at 4pm performances as part of the 10 Minute Play Competition.

To challenge traditional notions of casting and create open opportunities, 2 main characters will be cast via anonymous draw. Performers must be 18+ and in the Brantford, ON area. No headshots, no auditions, no previous experience.

Amanda will provide gentle coaching, encouragement, and a space for co-creation as we bring this short performance to the stage in September for a timely perspective on AI and our emotional well-being.
